Charmonium decay puzzle and charmed hadron decays from lattice QCD

The long-standing puzzle of charmonium decay has become even more confounding with the latest BESIII measurements. The decay width quoted by PDG stands in pronounced disagreement with both experiment and lattice calculation. In this report, I review our lattice studies on the charmonium decay in recent years. Besides, a precise lattice determination of the radiative decay width of the strange charm meson is presented, which can be utilized to extract the CKM matrix element |Vcs| by combining with experimental data. Finally, I will introduce the state-of-the-art lattice determination of the semileptonic decay Ds→φ, the corresponding form factors and branching fraction are by far the most precise and systematic.
孟雨,郑州大学物理学院研究员,2015年本科毕业于郑州大学,2020年获 北京大学 博士学位,随后进入北京大学高能物理研究中心从事博士后研究工作。2022年加入郑州大学任研究员。其主要研究方向为运用格点QCD研究粲强子的辐射衰变与弱衰变,以及强子-强子散射过程。
