Jordan Negativity and Quantum Incompatibility

The roots of quantum incompatibility go back to Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle and Bohr’s notion of complementarity. Incompatibility is traditionally thought of as a property of a collection of measurements, but the concept can be easily generalized to quantum channels. The quantification of quantum incompatibility advances our understanding of this fundamental quantum feature. In this talk, I will introduce our proposed methods that employ the Jordan product to quantify incompatibility in both measurements and channels.

郭亦,中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院博士生,导师为骆顺龙研究员,主要研究领域是概率论与量子信息,目前已经在Physical Review A和Physics letters A各发表SCI论文1篇。
