Minors play an important role in graph theory. The famous Archdeacon-Huneke-Robertson-Seymour theorem states that for every closed compact surface, there exists a finite list of graphs such that a graph G is embeddable on this surface if and only if it does not contain any of these graphs as a minor.

In this talk, we give a survey on extremal eigenvalues of graphs embedded on surfaces.


主讲人介绍:

翟明清,南京理工大学教授,博士生导师,博士毕业于华东师范大学运筹学与控制论专业,南京师范大学博士后,中国工业与应用数学学会图论组合及应用专业委员会委员。主要从事代数图论、极值图论等方面研究。近年来,在 J. Combin. Theory A / B,J. Graph Theory,European J. Combin.,Adv. in Appl. Math.等期刊发表学术论文60余篇,主持和参与多项国家自然科学基金和省部级自然科学基金项目。
