In this talk we mainly focus on some extremal problems for color critical graphs. In particular we study the Ramsey number, Tur\a'n number and spctral number of generalized book graphs. Some well-known conjectures or well-known results will be deduced by our results. Our method mainly based on regularity lemma and stabilty theory. Some further research problems are proposed in our talk.

李书超，理学博士，华中师范大学三级教授、博士生导师。1998年-2001年师从南开大学陈永川院士学习组合数学，获得博士学位后，到华中师范大学数学与统计学院工作至今。2013年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划，2012年主持完成的项目获湖北省自然科学奖(第一完成人)。 以第一作者或通讯作者身份在30余个重要的国际SCI期刊上发表学术论文150余篇。
