This talk offers asurvey on the interplay of Factorization Theory of Krull Monoids with ArithmeticCombinatorics.

主讲人介绍：

Alfred Geroldinger received his MSc in mathematicsfrom the University of Vienna, his MSc in computer science from the ViennaUniversity of Technology, and his PhD from the University of Graz. He isprofessor of mathematics at the University of Graz, and his research interestsinclude commutative algebra and number theory. Since more than 25 years he isin close contact with Chinese research groups on Combinatorial and AdditiveNumber Theory. This contact is documented by many mutual visits and by morethan 30 joint publications with Chinese mathematicians, including Weidong Gao,Pingzhi Yuan, Qinghai Zhong, and others.
