Oscillatory-Preserving Integrators for Nonlinear Highly Oscillatory Differential Equations

讲座内容：

The main theme of this talk is oscillation-preserving integrators for solvingnonlinear highly oscillatory systems. Webegin with the matrix-variation-of-constants formula with applications for multi-frequency highly oscillatory systems, and then present the definition of oscillation-preservingintegrators, and analyze the behavior of oscillation preservation for RKN-typemethods, including classical RKN methods, Gautschi-type methods, ERKN integrators,trigonometric Fourier collocation methods, ARKN methods, AVF methods, AAVFmethods. We also consider otherconcerns relating to highly oscillatory problems. This leads to a new perspective for numerical integration of multi-frequencyhighly oscillatory systems.

主讲人介绍：

吴新元，南京大学教授、博士生导师、目前主要从事微分方程保结构算法研究，多次获得国家自然科学面上基金、自然科学基金委与英国皇家学会国际交流与合作基金、教育部聘请外国专家重点项目、教育部博士点基金的资助。在国际权威Springer出版社出版学术专著3部，并赢得美国数学评论《Mathematical Reviews》的高度评价，在SIAM Numer. Anal.、SIAM Sci. Comput.、Found. Comput. Math.等国际顶级SCI期刊上发表了一系列高质量学术论文。多次应邀到英国剑桥大学、帝国理工学院、美国普渡大学、德国图宾根大学、新西兰奥克兰大学等国际顶尖大学进行学术访问，并作专题学术报告。荣获欧洲科学与工程计算方法学会颁发的最高荣誉奖：“Honorary Fellowship”，该奖项是为表彰获奖者在数值分析与应用数学领域所做出的杰出贡献而颁发的。
